The Maison · The Path
Five ascensions. Three named, two veiled. One becoming.
Entry is a threshold, not a transaction. The further she rises, the more the Maison becomes hers — the circle closer, the mysteries wider, her own power surer. More is asked of her, yes; far more is given.
Three names are spoken here — and with each, more of the Maison becomes hers. More of the secret. A closer circle. A surer power. She is received, then initiated, then, for a rare few, raised to lead.
You cross, and rise an Enchantress.
From her first day, she belongs — to a House, and to the thirty-three before whom she wears no veil. The teachings begin to open; the world she only sensed becomes one she lives inside. She enters an Enchantress, and is already not the woman who knocked.
The Great Work, turned inward — six movements by which a woman becomes her own finest material, and her own master of it.
Taught by women who have walked it — practised behind the Veil, not merely read.
Enchantress becomes Sorceress.
Here the alchemy turns intimate. She is woven into a Cabal — a circle within the circle — and handed the mysteries an Enchantress alone will never glimpse. She stops moving through the Maison and becomes one of the hands that move it.
The Thirty-Two Magistras.
Here a woman stops being led. She becomes one of the Thirty-Two who keep the Mysteries and shape what the Maison will be — and from among them, the Suprema is raised. It is not bought, nor asked for; it is conferred, upon those who have given the most.
Once a year they convene The Rekindling of the Veil — the Maison’s New Year — the Suprema presiding. Their other gatherings are known only to them.
No Suprema reigns for life. Only the Throne endures.
Read of the ThroneThe Ascent does not end at the Sanctum. Two ascensions remain, behind the Veil — and they are not named on this side of it. One does not seek them. One is summoned.
The Sorceress, forever.
Everything the ascent would give her, given at once — the whole of La Grande Arte, a House, a sisterhood that knows her name — with the climb itself set aside. The substance, without the striving.

All who enter begin with the same first gesture: to be beheld.
Every Sorceress was once a stranger at the Threshold.
