This Privacy Policy explains how Alchemie & Veil (the "Maison," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use this site or apply for or hold membership. Alchemie & Veil is operated by Alchemie & Veil LLC, a Delaware limited liability company and a wholly owned subsidiary of GL33N LLC. It works alongside our Terms of Service. Membership in an esoteric order may reveal information about your philosophical or spiritual beliefs. This is treated as a special category of personal data under laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, and as sensitive personal information under the California Privacy Rights Act. We process such information only with your explicit consent and for the purposes described in this policy, and you may ask us to limit our use of it.
We use your information to review applications and verify eligibility and age; to establish and administer your membership; to arrange and host gatherings; to communicate with you; to take and manage payment; to personalize your experience; to maintain the safety and integrity of the Maison; and to comply with law.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating the Maison, and compliance with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
Payments are processed by GL33N LLC through a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe). Your payment is also subject to the processor’s own terms and privacy policy. We receive limited information about your transaction and do not store your full payment-card number.
The Maison operates from the United States. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for these transfers.
We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide your membership and the purposes described here, and as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you of a data breach as required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to limit our use of sensitive information.

The Maison is for adults. We do not direct the site to, or knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their practices; please review their own privacy policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date and, where a change is material, provide notice as required by law.
