1 · Acceptance of these Terms

Alchemie & Veil (the "Maison," "we," "us," or "our") provides a private members’ society and this website. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the Maison. By applying to, joining, or maintaining membership in the Maison, or by using this site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or seek membership.

If you join, the covenants you read and sign during your application are part of this agreement. These Terms expand upon them; where a signed covenant and these Terms address the same subject, read them together, and the more specific term governs.

2 · Who we are

Alchemie & Veil is operated by Alchemie & Veil LLC, a Delaware limited liability company and a wholly owned subsidiary of GL33N LLC. Payments are processed by GL33N LLC through its third-party payment processor. You can reach us at stewards@alchemieandveil.com.

3 · Eligibility

Membership is open only to women who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and who have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. By applying or joining, you represent that you meet these requirements, that the information you give is true, accurate, and current, and that you will keep it current. We may verify your identity and eligibility, and may decline or revoke membership if any information is false or incomplete.

4 · The Maison and your membership

The Maison is a private society for women offering community, instruction, ceremony, gatherings, and related experiences. Membership is offered at several degrees, by application or by invitation, and admission is at the Maison’s sole discretion.

Membership is personal to you, non-transferable, and confers no ownership interest in the Maison and no entitlement to advance to any further degree, to be invited to any inner circle or office, or to any particular recognition. Advancement is conferred by the Maison in its discretion and is never purchased. We may change, add, or withdraw benefits, degrees, gatherings, or features at any time.

5 · Applications and admission

Submitting an application — whether to be beheld, to cross the Threshold, to seek the Temple, or otherwise — does not guarantee acceptance. We review applications in our discretion and may request further information, decline an application, or place conditions on membership. Your membership begins only upon our acceptance and your completion of any required enrollment and payment.

6 · Fees, billing, renewal, and cancellation

Membership fees are stated when you join and are payable in US dollars, exclusive of any applicable taxes (such as sales tax or VAT), for which you are responsible. Unless stated otherwise, membership runs for a term of one year and renews automatically so that it continues without interruption.

By enrolling, you authorize the Maison and its payment processor to charge your payment method the membership fee at enrollment and the then-current renewal fee on each renewal date, until you cancel. We will give you advance notice before a renewal and before any change in price, as required by law. You may cancel at any time, by a method as simple as the one by which you joined; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid term and stops future renewals.

Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused benefits, suspension, or expulsion. If a charge fails, we may suspend or end membership until it is resolved. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a charge you authorized is a breach of these Terms.

7 · Confidentiality (the Vow of the Veil)

Membership depends on discretion. You agree to hold in strict confidence all that is entrusted to you within the Maison: the identities of other members; the teachings, rites, practices, sigils, and materials of the Maison (the "Mysteries"); the existence, location, and details of any gathering; and any non-public information concerning the Maison, its leadership, members, or affairs. You will not disclose, publish, photograph, record, broadcast, or share any of it with anyone outside the Maison, in any medium, without our prior written consent. This obligation continues after your membership ends.

These restrictions do not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of yours, that you already lawfully knew, or that you are legally compelled to disclose (with reasonable advance notice to us where lawful). Nothing in these Terms prevents or penalizes you from speaking truthfully, reporting suspected unlawful conduct to law enforcement or a government agency, discussing or disclosing conduct you reasonably believe to be sexual assault or sexual harassment, responding to lawful legal process, leaving honest reviews of your own experience, or exercising any right that cannot lawfully be waived. We may pursue legal remedies for a breach, including injunctive relief and recovery of enforcement costs where permitted.

8 · Code of conduct

You agree to engage with the Maison and its members respectfully, lawfully, and in good faith. You will not harass, threaten, demean, or exploit any member; you will not photograph or record another member or any gathering without consent; you will not solicit or recruit members for outside ventures; you will observe the Maison’s substance and safety expectations at gatherings; and you will not use the Maison for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or expel any member for conduct we judge harmful to the Maison or its members, and fees are forfeited upon expulsion.

9 · Assumption of risk and release

Participation in the Maison’s gatherings, practices, ceremonies, communications, and activities is voluntary and may carry risks — physical, emotional, psychological, social, or financial — including risks you may not foresee. Certain activities may involve, for example, open flame and candlelight, breathwork, movement or dance, periods of fasting or dietary practice, and travel. You represent that you are physically and mentally able to participate, and you agree to consult a qualified physician before participating if you have any condition participation could affect. The Maison is not a healthcare, medical, mental-health, legal, or financial provider; it offers spiritual, social, and educational experiences only, provides no emergency medical care, and nothing it offers is a substitute for professional care or advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all risks of participation and release, waive, and agree not to sue Alchemie & Veil and its affiliated entities, owners, officers, directors, members, staff, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and for any claim, liability, injury, damage, loss, or expense arising out of or relating to your participation, except for conduct finally determined to constitute gross negligence or willful misconduct. This release binds your heirs and representatives.

10 · No guarantee of results

The Maison offers experiences, community, and instruction; it does not promise or guarantee any spiritual, personal, social, romantic, professional, or financial outcome. Any testimonial reflects one member’s individual experience and is not a promise of yours.

11 · Intellectual property

The Maison’s name, marks, sigils, teachings, rites, writings, designs, and materials are owned by the Maison or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use them solely for your own participation. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, adapt, publicly display, or create derivative works from them without our prior written consent.

12 · Your content; name, image, and likeness

If you submit content to the Maison (for example, in an application or a message), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve the Maison. You also grant the Maison a royalty-free, worldwide license to use your name, image, likeness, and voice as captured at gatherings or in materials you provide or post, for the Maison’s operation and promotion across media. While members may not record the Maison or one another without consent, you understand the Maison may make and use recordings of its own gatherings. You may withdraw consent for future use by written notice, which does not affect prior uses.

13 · Communications

You consent to receive communications from the Maison about your membership. If you provide a phone number and opt in, you consent to receive calls and text messages (including by automated means) at that number, and you may opt out at any time by replying STOP; message and data rates may apply. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link provided. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of membership.

14 · Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Maison, this site, and everything we provide are offered "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

15 · Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Released Parties will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your membership or use of the site. The Maison’s total liability for all claims relating to your membership or the site will not exceed the total fees you paid to the Maison in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

16 · Indemnification

You will indemnify, defend, and hold the Released Parties harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misconduct, your content, or your violation of any law or another person’s rights.

17 · Suspension and termination

You may end your membership as described in Section 6. We may suspend or end your membership at any time for a breach of these Terms or conduct we judge harmful, and otherwise in our discretion as described above. Upon termination, your right to access the Maison ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including confidentiality, the releases, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — survive the end of your membership.

18 · Dispute resolution, arbitration, and governing law

Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes are resolved and limits how you may seek relief.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to your membership or use of the site are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Before commencing arbitration, the parties will attempt to resolve the dispute informally, by written notice and a thirty (30) day period to cure.

Any unresolved dispute will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider (such as the American Arbitration Association) under its applicable consumer rules, seated in Wilmington, Delaware. You and the Maison waive any right to a trial by jury, and agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding, to the extent permitted by law. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect confidentiality, intellectual property, or similar rights.

Questions about the scope or enforceability of this arbitration agreement are for the arbitrator, except that the enforceability of the class-action waiver is for a court. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by written notice to us within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms; opting out does not affect the remainder of these Terms. If the class-action waiver is held unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will proceed in court while all others remain in arbitration.

19 · Electronic communications and signatures

You consent to transact with the Maison electronically and to receive these Terms, the covenants, agreements, and related records electronically. Your electronic signature and submissions have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. You may request a paper copy of any record, and may withdraw consent to electronic records by written notice, which may limit your ability to use the Maison’s services.

20 · Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, where a change is material, give notice as required by law. Your continued membership or use of the site after the update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

21 · General

These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and any covenants and agreements you sign, are the entire agreement between you and the Maison regarding your membership and the site, and supersede prior understandings. We may assign or transfer these Terms, including to an affiliated entity or a successor; you may not assign or transfer your membership or these Terms. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of nature, illness or public-health measures, travel disruption, or government action, and we may change the date, location, format, or content of any gathering. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the least extent necessary to make it enforceable or, if it cannot be, severed, and the remaining provisions stay in full effect. Headings are for convenience only. Notices to you may be sent to the contact details you provide.

22 · Contact
